Calamondin, also known as calamansi, is a small citrus fruit particularly used in the Philippines. Sometimes it is called as Philippine lime or Panama orange. Calamondin (Calamansi) is a hybrid of a kumquat and a mandarin, with a sweet peel and sour, edible pulp. It is used in a similar way to limes or lemons for flavoring drinks, marinades, and baked goods, and can be grown as an ornamental plant with a pleasant aroma when blooming.
